Shouting After the Rain: Why We Can Be Solving the Wrong Problems
This article explores how misdiagnosing problems leads to ineffective or harmful solutions. Through personal experience and examples, the Cobra Effect, WWII aircraft strategy, and education policy, it emphasizes the need for awareness, accurate diagnosis, and outcome-based incentives. True progress begins with asking: are we solving the real problem?

Quote Of The Day
One paper draws on qualitative interviews with commuters to show how public transport is perceived as “functional enough to use, but fragile enough to be set aside.” The findings highlight how reliability, comfort, safety, and access shape daily decisions, particularly for commuters who have access to both cars and public transport.
