Policy Research Intern
Khazanah Research Institute offers an internship programme for interns to gain valuable experience in an institute that is dedicated to carrying out rigorous research and providing actionable policy recommendations to address the most pressing issues facing Malaysia.
Interns will work closely with staff members at the Institute on a broad variety of assignments ranging from compiling, processing and analysing statistical data, assisting in the production of research reports, administrative duties and assisting with research-related events.
Requirements
- Be second or penultimate year students across related degree backgrounds: economics, mathematics, sociology, agriculture or food science, energy or climate, amongst others.
 - Possess strong academic results – minimum CGPA of 3.0.
 - Be able to demonstrate strength in qualitative and/or quantitative research, with interest in sharpening their existing research competencies as well as learning other methodologies.
 - Possess an interest in policy research and the multi-faceted causes and potential solutions to the issues tackled in this field.
 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
