Environment, Food & Climate Resilience
Addressing climate adaptation, food security, and environmental sustainability challenges while balancing development needs and ecological preservation in Malaysia.

Malaysia's rich biodiversity and natural resources face mounting pressures from climate change and development demands. Our research examines climate adaptation strategies for vulnerable coastal and highland communities, sustainable management of tropical forests and marine ecosystems, food security challenges amid changing weather patterns, and pathways to carbon neutrality by 2050.
As Malaysia balances economic growth with environmental stewardship, we analyze the transition to renewable energy while managing oil and gas dependencies, sustainable palm oil and agricultural practices, circular economy implementation in urban and industrial sectors, water security and flood management systems, and mechanisms for protecting indigenous land rights while pursuing conservation goals across diverse ecosystems from rainforests to coral reefs.
